It was an epic battle for the books! Four of the country’s best Mobile Legends teams brought their A-game to the first-ever Mobile Legends Kumunity Cup. The adrenaline was high, with players and watchers at the edge of their seats throughout the heated tournament.

Held on March 26, the Grand Finals saw Perfetto Stranieri Famiglia, Monophonic Official (Nexus Esports – Philippines), Startek Philippines and The Frontliners competing for the coveted title and P40,000 cash prize.
The Mobile Legends tournament started off three weeks ago, with 46 teams that battled it out in six intense rounds. Everyone – from gaming enthusiasts, avid players, and the curious – tuned in to the kumu app via @luponwxc2.
When it was finally down to the last four teams, the finals was nothing short of showdown, bringing new thrills and impressive gameplay into the spotlight. On that fateful night, the following winners emerged: Perfetto Stranieri Famiglia in third place, Startek PH, and Monophonic Official (Nexus PH) as the reigning champions.
“The experience was fun and quite challenging,” shares Jasper Jim Cruz (@hazlith) of Startek Philippines. An avid gamer for five years now, Jasper was thrilled to be joining the first-ever tournament on kumu. “There were challenges since my team had different work schedules and we had absolutely no time to practice. But it was an overall good experience for us!”
The Team Captain of Monophonic Official, Gian Carl Sambat Guerra (@theuniversetv26) brims with the same excitement for the tournament, elated to be part of the historic win. “Masaya po kami dahil di po namin inakalang makakapasok po kami dito,” he says. “Nagenjoy lang po kami and nilaro lang po namin yung best namin. Kaya noong nakapasok kami, masaya po ako dahil para sa amin ay experience din ito. Sinabi ko sa nga ka-squad ko na manalo o matalo, it’s just a part of the game! But we proved na kaya pala namin!”
The recent tournament was exciting and life-changing, indeed, for all those who took part. “Masaya at maraming laro pa dadating; we can’t wait!’ shares Denz Matthew Seva (@•|Denzio|•) of Perfetto Stranieri Famiglia.
